LLM providers live in Settings
LLM providers are saved in Settings. API keys stay in SQLite and are not returned by the API. The entry date is the migration backup named in the report.
MVP-5.1 adds an in-app provider list under Settings, separate from the project canvas. An LLM Generate node stores a provider id and a model. The key is written to the api_key column of llm_providers in storage/canvas.db. List and detail responses return configured and has_api_key. They do not return the key. A generation spec freezes the public provider fields and leaves the secret out. Regenerate reads the current endpoint and key by provider id.
The report says this path does not include streaming, tools, vision, or audio. It also says no real connection check was run, because the production database had no saved provider and no key was invented for the check.
The report file does not print a completion date of its own. It names two pre-migration backups, infinitecanvas-before-mvp51-20260909-082031-816217.sqlite and infinitecanvas-before-mvp51-20260909-085052-481647.sqlite. This entry uses 2026-09-09 from those names. The migration marker in the report is mvp51-llm-providers-v1.
